The Cleveland Browns were without their star starting running back Nick Chubb in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals. They found out after that game that they will be without their other star running back Kareem Hunt for quite some time.

Now, with a short week to prepare for the Denver Broncos, the Browns will again be without Chubb.

The Browns will be looking to rebound after losing at home to the Cardinals. On the bright side of things, they'll be welcoming in a Denver team that is struggling mightily after beating up on some lesser competition to start the year. On the flip end of that, Cleveland is dealing with a ton of injuries and a shortage at the running back position.

Hunt will be out at least three weeks and it does seem as though Chubb has been more of a day-to-day situation instead of week-to-week for the Browns. Still, they'll have to find ways to get it done on Thursday night with D'Ernest Johnson and Demetric Felton in the backfield.

They'll hope they have quarterback Baker Mayfield, who left Sunday's game early against Arizona after aggravating his already partially torn labrum. Baker expects to play for the Browns while Cleveland has already said they hope the injury is one that can avoid surgery.

Cleveland will have its hands full on Thursday night and it will mostly be because of all the injuries they are trying to overcome.
