The Cleveland Browns took a massive step forward in 2018. Suddenly, they were setting themselves up to truly breakout in 2019, the ascend to the top was going quicker than anyone could have expected.

To speed up the process even more, the Browns brought in some reinforcements. Perhaps none were bigger than the two offensive superstars they got. Those were, of course, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and running back Kareem Hunt.

With those two in the offense, Cleveland entered the year as legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

That didn't happen though. In fact, the Browns didn't make the playoffs, and weren't even .500.

Due to the extremely disappointing season, many are expecting Cleveland to shake things up. According to Darin Gantt of ProFootballTalk.com however, Cleveland GM Andrew Berry believes Beckham Jr. and Hunt are still part of the future of the Browns.

Beckham Jr. and Hunt are two stars that a lot of people have speculated could be moved. The Browns have a number of talented players at both running back and wide receiver. They also could get some a nice return for Beckham Jr., while saving money by not re-signing Hunt.

That being said, it's hard to think of a return for Beckham Jr. that will make it worth it. The wide receiver has had his issues, which might make teams hesitant on pulling the trigger. He's also one of the most talented players in the NFL though.

Even last season, in an “off” year, Beckham Jr. managed 74 receptions for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns.

For most receivers, that would be a great year. For Beckham Jr., that was his worst full-season in the NFL. That's insane. You can't really let that go.

Meanwhile, Hunt might not command a big contract at all, and is still extremely dangerous as both a runner and receiver.

The bottom line is simple. Cleveland believes they have the right recipe, but things went sour in 2019. If they still believe they can compete, they won't want to lose two of their most talented players.
