The Cleveland Browns have gotten off to a slow start this season at just 1-2 through three games. Things don't get easier for them this week against the best team in the AFC North, the Baltimore Ravens. Unfortunately, Freddie Kitchens and company will be without one of their best defensive players.

According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, cornerback Denzel Ward will be unable to play against the Ravens due to a hamstring injury.

This is tough news for the Browns, who will have to try to contain second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson. Outside of Patrick Mahomes, Jackson has been the most dynamic quarterback in the NFL so far this year. If the Browns want to come up with a big win, they will have to slow him down.

Without Ward on the field, the Browns will lean heavily on rookie cornerback Greedy Williams, assuming he is able to play this week. Williams has been dealing with injury issues of his own this week.

Ward is one of the top young cornerbacks in the game and will be missed mightily this week. Cleveland has to figure out a way to slow down the Ravens' offense and not allow big-time plays. Myles Garrett will certainly be asked to put pressure on Jackson and rack up a couple of sacks.

All of that being said, make sure to tun in to this big-time matchup between the Browns and Ravens at 1:00 p.m. EST on CBS.
