It is safe to say that the Cleveland Browns quickly became the most underwhelming NFL team this year. Now under the .500 mark, the Browns most recently came up short on the road against the lowly Arizona Cardinals — which led head coach Freddie Kitchens and veteran wide receiver Jarvis Landry to get into it on the sideline in the desert.

After the game, both Kitchens and Landry commented on the situation, one that is just the latest in a long line of forgettable moments for the Browns this season.

Although Kitchens and the Browns have yet to be officially eliminated from playoff contention, it is all but over for Cleveland this time around. As it stands today, thanks to the team's latest loss to the Cardinals, the Browns sit at just 6-8 on the season; the AFC North franchise cannot put together a winning record this season.

Not only that, but the Browns underperformed in a huge way throughout the entirety of the year thus far with Cleveland even receiving praise as a potential Super Bowl contender during the preseason.

With both the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers excelling this season, the Browns and Freddie Kitchens will more than likely finish in third place in the AFC North standings when all is said and done in 2019.

As a result, Kitchens' job status remains up in the air as ownership and upper management once again attempt to right the ship in Cleveland.
