The Cleveland Browns were able to secure their second straight win in Week 11. Wide receiver Jarvis Landry is now looking forward to getting a winning streak going in familiar territory.

Landry is finally slated to square off against his former team in the Miami Dolphins. According to Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post, he is admittedly excited about going back to where his career started:

“This is definitely one of the games that I knew in two years I'd get a chance to have. I'm happy it's here.”

Landry's comments are certainly understandable. He had initially been taken by Miami in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft and spent years establishing himself as the No. 1 option in the passing game. He was named a Pro Bowler three times and even managed to lead the league in receptions during the 2017 campaign.

Unfortunately, Landry's individual success did not result in much winning in Miami. As a result, he became an early casualty of their efforts to usher in a rebuild and they opted to part ways by trading him to Cleveland in exchange for a fourth-round pick and a seventh-round pick.

It is safe to say that while Landry is happy that fellow wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was eventually able to join him, he has not forgotten about all that had transpired with the Dolphins that led to the trade. They may need to take notice considering he has now managed to score a touchdown in three straight games.
