As part of his media availability on Thursday, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry revealed that he has been playing through a broken rib.

According to an injury update from NFL.com, Landry has been dealing with the ailment since Cleveland's week 5 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts..

Landry still isn't 100 percent. The former LSU standout is still recovering from an offseason hip surgery, but he continues to play. He was limited in Wednesday practice session, but believe he'll be well enough to play in the Browns' Week 7 matchup against their in-state rival, the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Browns have won games against mediocre opponents this season, including matchups against The Washington Football Team and the Dallas Cowboys. However, against tougher opponents, such as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland has struggled.

Still, the Browns are 4-2 overall, so there is a level of optimism in Northeast Ohio.

Cleveland traveled to Heinz Field this past Sunday. Things got ugly fairly quick, and the Steelers ran away with a 38-7 victory, moving to 5-0 on the season. Landry had three catches on five targets for 40 yards. Austin Hooper led the Browns in this department with five catches for 52 yards. Odell Beckham Jr. — a player whose heard his name in several headlines this week — finished with two catches for 25 yards.

The Browns and Bengals are set to square off at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, with CBS having live broadcast coverage. If he's deemed well enough to play, there is no doubt that Landry will want to be on the field.
