Since being conditionally reinstatement by the NFL earlier this month, former Pro Bowl wide receiver Josh Gordon has progressively worked his way back to being placed on the Cleveland Browns' active roster.

According to Pat McManamon of ESPN, head coach Hue Jackson revealed on Monday that he plans on playing Gordon in as big of a workload that he can physically handle against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 13 action.

“My plans for him? Oh boy, let me tell you,” Jackson said. “I got big plans for him. I plan for him to play and play as much as he can handle.”

Although he won't be cleared until later this week, he can continue to practice with the team the entire week. Gordon has been on the practice field since last Wednesday and has made nothing but a positive impression on the coaching staff.

The 26-year-old is expected to be activated to the roster later this week when a roster spot is opened up. This will mark his first game in almost three years as he was suspended for the last two seasons for violating the league's substance abuse policy multiple times, forcing him to miss 43 out of the last 48 games that the Browns have played.

Gordon could step in as the primary target in the passing game for the Browns if he shows that he can recapture his form that saw him lead the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards back in the 2013 campaign.
