Former UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen has been widely regarded as being one of the overall top talents in this year's draft class. This has put him in the position of possibly being selected with the first overall pick by the Cleveland Browns, who are in need of upgrading under center.

However, there has been constant chatter that Rosen has previously stated that he doesn't want to wind up in Cleveland due to their continued utter lack of success. According to Michael Silver of Sports Illustrated, the 21-year-old has once again made it clear that isn't the case by any means.

All of this has seemingly become a publicity sell that Rosen is keeping all his options open even if that means going to the Browns. It would make him the top overall selection while earning the pay of that spot. This would put him in the position to compete for a starting job right out of the gate to start his NFL career.

The Browns may not have had any type of sustained success since being re-established in 1999, the franchise looks more than ready to turn the page. The front office will have more than $110 million at their disposal to make moves in free agency and the trade market to add talent. The addition of Rosen would give them a promising young quarterback to build around for the next several years.

Although both USC's Sam Darnold and Wyoming's Josh Allen are getting more shine at the moment, Rosen has shown to be a highly talented quarterback. He has been touted as being a pure passer that also possesses a strong arm that has allowed him to make accurate throws in tight coverage. He has also demonstrated to have some strong footwork and pocket presence that could help him have much success at the next level.

Rosen has the physical tools and ability to be a highly capable player in the NFL and that may have to come in a Browns' uniform. Ultimately, he will know his fate in late April when Cleveland is on the clock at the first overall pick.
