Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt thinks he has an opportunity to thrive under Kevin Stefanski and the new offensive system that is being introduced. Hunt and Nick Chubb are hoping to combine to create one of the best backfields in football.

Hunt said he has talked to Chubb a lot this offseason and they both feel they can thrive in the wide zone scheme. According to Hunt, they watched what Dalvin Cook did in it, and they believe the success will be there for them too.

Hunt also knows with Chubb in the Browns' backfield, his role could change each game, but he is ready to do whatever is asked of him each and every game:

“I just see myself no matter when my number is called, whether it's running the ball or in the passing game. I'm ready to go.”

Hunt is also excited heading into the season because he is healthy, something that he wasn't last year. Last season during training camp, he had a core muscle injury and that slowed him down. He knows he is a different player when fully healthy and he is ready to show that off again.

If Hunt can stay healthy, and out of trouble, the Browns' running game should be strong. Hunt is only a few years removed from when he rushed 272 times for 1,327 yards and eight touchdowns in the 2018 season.

It might be hard to match those numbers this season if he is second fiddle to Chubb, but right now it seems that Hunt is okay with that role.
