The Cleveland Browns have seen some highs and lows in recent years. Surprisingly, the once lowly team suddenly became a hotbed of big-name talents. In 2018, the franchise picked former Oklahoma Sooner and Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield with the top pick in the draft. The front office also selected Georgia running back Nick Chubb with the 35th pick in the second round of the same year's draft.

Having already played two seasons together, higher expectations are being set on the two offensive players. Chubb bared his insights on Mayfield upon entering the upcoming season via Browns beat writer Nate Ulrich on Twitter:

Baker Mayfield has already shown flashes of potential in his first two years in the league. At the end of his rookie season, Mayfield was included in the PFWA All-Rookie Team. He also set a myriad of Browns' franchise records to his name including the most passing yards by a rookie with 3,725, most game-winning drives by a rookie with 4, and highest passer rating by a rookie with 93.7.

Mayfield capped off his sophomore run with a total of 3,827 passing yards on 534 attempts and scored 22 passing touchdowns. He also starred in all 16 games last season as the Browns' primary playmaker.

Meanwhile, Chubb came to the Browns as a backup to veterans Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson. In a November 2018 game against the Atlanta Falcons, Chubb ran a 92-yard rushing touchdown and set the longest rushing touchdown record in Browns' franchise history.

Chubb became a full-fledged starter and tallied better numbers in his sophomore season. He finished his 2019 campaign with 1,494 rushing yards and eight touchdowns along with 36 receptions for 278 yards. His rushing yards were the second-highest behind Tennessee Titans' Derrick Henry, who rushed for 1,540 yards. His consistent and solid play led to his first Pro Bowl appearance last season.

The upstart Browns are looking to move forward with Mayfield and Chubb as centerpieces of their offensive rotation. The duo will look to deal damage to the rest of the league as they lead the club back to supremacy.
