Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is questionable for Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals because of flu-like symptoms. According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Beckham came down with the illness on Friday and is officially listed as questionable.

Beckham has also been dealing with a groin injury most of the season but has been able to fight through that to try to help his team. Although the Browns don't have a lot to play for in Week 17, Beckham only needs 46 yards to reach 1,000 yards for the season and that's an important personal milestone.

Jarvis Landry has already reached the milestone, and it would be special for the team to have two 1,000 yards receivers.

“We ask a lot of those guys, and they continue to bring it and give it to us every day,’’ Baker Mayfield said. “I’m thankful for those guys. Obviously, they both had good years. People can say what they want about Odell’s year on the outside, but hopefully, after this week he has over 1,000 yards, we have two guys over 1,000 yards and a couple of Pro Bowlers (in Landry and Nick Chubb).”

Browns coach Freddie Kitchens said the team was closely monitoring the situation to make sure no other players were coming down with the flu. Kitchens was asked if the team would fly on two planes to keep the sick players quarantined if needed.

“I don’t know about that – maybe a car,’’ Kitchens said with a laugh. “Hopefully, we don’t need a plane for it.”
