Not only is today Hyde's 28th birthday, but Hyde is also waiting to welcome a new member to his family. Hyde's wife is expected to give birth today.
Despite the big occasion for Hyde, he has professional obligations to take care of. The Browns are hosting the New York Jets tonight. Hyde is already at FirstEnergy Stadium, but his child has yet to be born yet, per Omar Ruiz of NFL Network.

One could surmise Carlos Hyde might have a career game this evening. It's his birthday, and he's welcoming a kid into the world. The Browns are also looking for their first win in almost a year.
Hyde has carried the ball 38 times through the first three games. He's rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns.
