The Cleveland Browns have been one of the most active teams this offseason. The front office has gone out of its way to acquire top talent to improve the defense. After Baker Mayfield went ballistic in the final half of the season last year, this franchise is not too far away from becoming a Super Bowl-caliber team. With the draft approaching though, it seems the Browns might be looking to dish Odell Beckham Jr. away for the right price, Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot (via The Barber Shop podcast).

Since joining Cleveland in 2019, OBJ hasn't lived up to expectations. In fact, during the Browns' hot streak, the offense ran better with him off the field. For that reason, it would make sense to trade Beckham Jr. and find other talented receivers that might fit the scheme better.

“If someone did come and make an offer to the Browns for Odell, I still think that they would listen to it. I don't think the Browns are 100 percent locked in to having to have OBJ on the team this year”

Trading away Odell Beckham Jr. could pay off greatly for the Browns. He's still considered a top talent in the league and could provide some nice draft capital. Any team searching to upgrade their wide receiver corps should show some interest in possibly obtaining the seven-year veteran.

In two years with the Browns, OBJ has only garnered 1,354  receiving yards and seven touchdowns. His 55.1% catch percentage is alarmingly low, which has played a large part in his struggles since joining the Browns. Beckham Jr. is planning to have a bounce-back year and a change of scenery might be exactly what he needs.
