Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown is back in the news, and not for a good reason. Brown is facing a civil lawsuit over allegations of assault and battery which come from an incident with a truck driver, according to Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times.

The truck driver, Anton Tumanov, has decided to file a civil lawsuit because he “continues to suffer severe bodily injuries, pecuniary losses, and mental anguish.” When we break it down, the lawsuit is really just a failure of Brown shelling out a few thousand dollars to the driver.

Now the driver is seeking in excess of $75,000 and is going after Brown once again. After being arrested last January and pleading no guilty to the charges he was given probation.

For Brown, this is just the latest in an ongoing list of charges and allegations. He was suspended for eight games to begin the 2020 season for a number of incidents, including this one.

Brown ended up signing with the Bucs and joining Tom Brady as the pair went on to win a Super Bowl. The Buccaneers have since brought back their entire group of starters, including Brown on another one-year deal, and they should be solely in the driver's seat to aim for a repeat and hoist another Lombardi Trophy.

This latest situation regarding Brown is something to monitor, although he did already serve a suspension partly for this incident, so the NFL handing down another seems unlikely. Nonetheless, it's never good to see Brown's name in a lawsuit and the hope is he can return to his Pro Bowl form.
