Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians has shut down the idea of accommodating Tom Brady if he comes out of retirement and asks for a trade to join another team. But if the veteran QB insists, Arians has a massive asking price.

So what will it take to convince Arians to have a change of heart and trade the NFL icon? Well, NFL teams interested could land Brady for a very generous price of five (5, yes FIVE) first round picks.

Yikes!

It seems like anyone who wants to get Tom Brady will have a difficult path in landing him from the Buccaneers.

For what it's worth, it looks like Arians is simply joking and just making a statement on how they value Brady and how much they desire to keep him. After all, he recently highlighted that the door is “never closed” for TB12 if he wants to return to Tampa Bay and continue his NFL career.

Of course a trade is another matter. Nonetheless, Arians doesn't really expect the legendary quarterback to take the field again, revealing that Brady himself has “slammed [the door] shut” when he talked to him.

It remains to be seen what Brady will really do in his post-retirement life. Just days after announcing his decision, there were already reports linking him to a possible comeback, and that narrative is only expected to grow further given the former New England Patriots star's influence in the game.

The 44-year-old has also been mentioned in potential broadcasting projects, but it is unknown if he'll actually take a TV job soon. The general expectation is that he'll take his time to rest and enjoy his time with his family before making any drastic move.
