Rob Gronkowski is preparing to play in his first Divisional Round game with Tom Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. While Gronkowski's future with the Buccaneers is uncertain, the All-Pro tight end said he'll be back in 2021, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Ahead of Sunday's anticipated matchup with the Saints, Willie McGinest spoke to Gronkowski about his first year with the Buccaneers. During the conversation, Gronkowski didn't shy away from saying that he is going to return to Tampa Bay for a second season in 2021.

Following the 2018 season, his ninth year with the New England Patriots, Rob Gronkowski decided to retire from the NFL. Throughout the 2019 season, there were endless rumors of the veteran tight end returning to the Patriots to aid Brady and New England's offense.

Instead, Gronkowski waited until Brady chose to sign with the Buccaneers after his one-year hiatus from the NFL. New England would trade Gronkowski to Tampa Bay, allowing him to reunite with Brady in Florida.

Despite a slow start with his new team, Gronkowski still finished with 45 receptions for 623 yards and seven touchdowns during the regular season. What was most impressive for Gronkowski in 2020 was that he suited up in all 16 games for the first time in his career since 2011.

The legendary tight end is set to turn 32 years old in May and is in the final year of his current contract. Even though Gronkowski could retire or the Buccaneers could choose to let him walk, he is confident that he'll be catching passes from Brady in 2021.
