Kyle Van Noy has just one wish for Rob Gronkowski after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE announced his retirement: it better be the last!

To recall, Gronkowski first retired in the NFL in 2019 before coming back in 2020 to play alongside Tom Brady with the Buccaneers. In his first retirement, several stars and his then-New England Patriots teammates all paid tribute to him and heaped praise on the incredible career he had.

Van Noy, who was with the Patriots at the time, showed a ton of love for Gronk and even called him the best tight end to ever play the game. Put simply, it's an amazing parting message for a player many thought would never play in the NFL again.

So this time, in Gronk's second retirement with the Buccaneers. Van Noy made sure to tell his ex-teammate what he truly feels:

“This better be the last time I say this !! Congrats on retirement Rob Gronkowski!! Much love homie,” Van Noy wrote.

We certainly see where Kyle Van Noy is coming from, and given Rob Gronkowski's history, he has every right to be concerned. It's not like he can wait for another year to see if the Buccaneers star would unretire again before he sends his message.

While a lot of people might be hoping that Gronk will change his mind, it doesn't seem like he'll still return after pondering about the decision for months. And hey, imagine Van Noy's reaction if he goes back again!
