Following Sunday's debacle, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have finally made a move in regards to Antonio Brown, who stormed off the field mid-game after Bruce Arians allegedly forced him to play injured.

Via Adam Schefter:

This is was already expected because Arians said that AB was no longer a member of the Buccaneers organization after the contest, but it took a few days for Tampa to officially cut ties with the wideout. Here is their official statement:

Brown released a literal essay on Wednesday night explaining the entire situation, claiming that Arians knew he had an ankle injury yet forced him to take the field. Once AB refused, the Buccaneers head coach apparently told him to go home.

The wide receiver didn't stop there, though. He even posted a text message conversation that he had with Arians prior to Sunday's matchup with the Jets, where Brown apparently made it aware that he was battling an injury. AB also attacked Tom Brady's long-time trainer, saying he tried getting $100k out of him for doing nothing.

This entire fiasco is getting seriously out of hand but it is certainly not a good look for the Buccaneers based on what Antonio Brown said. We really have no idea who is telling the truth but nonetheless, the superstar WR is out of Tampa and will look to recover and hopefully sign elsewhere in 2022.
