Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, are coughing up a ton of dough for a residence on an exclusive island in Miami.

Brady and Bundchen were sighted touring their new $17 million property in Miami Beach on Monday, per Mary K. Jacob of the New York Post.

The celebrity couple were joined by some friends as they walked the confines of the property, which is on Indian Creek Island. That locale is nicknamed Miami's “Billionaire Bunker.”

The new residence spans about two acres, per Jacob:

Brady, 43, and Bündchen, 40, slapped down the sizable sum just before the new year, with plans to demolish the current house and build a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly home.

The lot spans approximately two acres with 200 feet of ocean views.

Amenities on the island include a private country club, a golf course, and only about 30 bayfront homes. It also boasts its own police force.

Brady and Bundchen are making themselves right at home in Florida. As they should.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion captured another Lombardi Trophy in his debut season with the Buccaneers. Brady then signed an extension so as to rework his contract and allow Tampa Bay the salary cap flexibility necessary to re-sign key internal free agents.

What's next for Brady and the Buccaneers? Well, Tampa Bay will almost certainly be a favorite to repeat as champions once again in 2021.

The Buccaneers are returning all 22 starters from last year's Super Bowl roster. Brady also has a full year under his belt in a Bruce Arians offense, and might only grow more comfortable in that scheme going forward. With all the weapons returning, it's good vibes only for the Buccaneers entering a new season.

In the meantime, Brady and Bundchen would appear set to live in luxury and hit the links every now and then.
