Giannis Antetokounmpo is happy about the current state of the Milwaukee Bucks despite the injuries to Eric Bledsoe and DJ Wilson.

Bledsoe is dealing with a rib injury, while Wilson is nursing a left hamstring strain. However, even though both players have been unable to contribute to the team in the preseason, the Bucks have found great success as a team.

Antetokounmpo admitted he missed his injured teammates, particularly Bledsoe, but he pointed out that they are getting better as a team and progressing to where they want to be before the 2019-20 season officially begins.

“We’re in a good spot,” Antetokounmpo said. “Obviously, Bledsoe getting hurt in the home game against Utah it was almost like a minor setback because we would love him to be here with us and be getting better together. But I think … guys individually are getting better, the team’s getting better and day-by-day we’re going to get in the spot we want to be.”

Milwaukee has plenty to prove this upcoming campaign, especially after falling short of the title last season. They topped the NBA with a 60-22 record, but they weren't able to get the job done after losing to the Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals.
