The Milwaukee Bucks officially signed veteran sharpshooter Kyle Korver on Thursday.

Bucks general manager Jon Horst released a statement on the move.

“Kyle is an elite three-point shooter who will play an impactful role for our team,” Horst said, via Bucks.com. “In addition to bringing tremendous experience, Kyle is familiar with Coach Bud’s system having played under him for three-plus seasons in Atlanta. Kyle is a highly-respected player and person both on and off the court and we are thrilled to welcome him and his family to the Bucks.”

Kyle Korver signed a one-year, $2.6 million contract with the Bucks. He's one of the best shooters in NBA history and will stretch the floor very well for Milwaukee, who had the best record in the league last season.

Korver, 38, has career averages of 9.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 44.3 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from beyond the arc and 87.8 percent from the free-throw line in 1,174 games with the Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers.

The more shooters you can put around Bucks superstar and 2019 MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, the better. A video circulated this week of Korver helping Antetokounmpo with his jump shot.

In Milwaukee, Korver is reuniting with head coach Mike Budenholzer. The two were in Atlanta together. This is another great signing by Jon Horst.
