The Milwaukee Bucks have built a commanding 2-0 lead against the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals and are now just two wins away from advancing to the NBA Finals. For Khris Middleton, however, this team can win not only this season's title but multiple championships in the foreseeable future.

Middleton, who has a player option this summer, will surely be the target of multiple teams. Nonetheless, he gave an indication that he intends to stay with the Bucks.

“It's rare to keep pieces together. Hopefully, we can make deep playoff runs and compete for championships together,” Middleton told Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports.

Middleton is having a career year this season, as he's averaging 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists. He also became an All-Star for the first time in his tenure in the NBA.

The 27-year-old swingman may have been struggling in the first two games against the Raptors, but make no mistake, he does all the little things for the Bucks which isn't showing in the stats sheet.

It took 18 years for the Bucks to be in the conference finals and roughly four decades before being considered as an elite title contender again. Middleton knows that and he likes what the franchise has built over the past couple of years.

It might be tempting to walk away and get a higher pay from another team, but he would be wise not to. And the Bucks will surely do everything in their power to make him stay.
