Khris Middleton is largely considered as the Robin to Giannis Antetokounmpo's Batman. However, on Saturday, the veteran Milwaukee Bucks swingman became Superman.

In the opener of their first-round playoff duel against the Miami Heat, Middleton stepped up in the clutch to send the Bucks to victory. After Jimmy Butler tied the game 99-all to send the contest  to overtime, it was Middleton's turn to show his clutch genes for Milwaukee.

With  less than five seconds remaining and the game tied at 107-all, Middleton attacked and launched a mid-range jumper from the right wing despite the defense on him. In a cruel twist for Butler and Co., the ball swished the net perfectly to give Milwaukee the lead with just 0.5 second left on the clock–giving Miami no chance at all for a comeback.

Sure enough, the Bucks were hyped after Khris Middleton's game-winner. Well, who wouldn't be? After their bubble heartbreak that saw Milwaukee lose to Miami in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, this was a game they really wanted and needed to take. However, for one moment, it seemed they would once again lose their chace.

Luckily for them, Middleton was there to save the day and give the Bucks a much-needed 1-0 lead and maintain homecourt advantage.

The series is still long, but Milwaukee certainly  earned more confidence following their latest playoffs victory.
