Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton played hero against the Miami Heat on Saturday, hitting a tough game-winning jumper with 0.5 seconds to play in overtime. The Bucks pulled out a 109-107 win in Game 1 of the first-round series thanks to the bucket.

Bucks center Brook Lopez is no stranger to seeing Middleton hit clutch shots. Lopez has been asked about Middleton's clutch play many times over the years. The big man could only smile as he referenced those previous situations.

Via The Athletic's Bucks beat reporter Eric Nehm:

“You could look up a ton of other times I answered that question for you, and they would all be valid,” Lopez said. “He’s just always so level. Obviously, first game of the playoffs, everybody’s amped up. Big game. This could have been a preseason game to him. I think he would have been the same way in the moment, shooting the ball and everything.”

Middleton is always cool and collected on the court, and his jumper is so smooth. It looked like there was no pressure at all as he buried the dagger over Duncan Robinson to give the Bucks the win.

The Bucks star has hit a number of big playoff shots in his career, and this was just the latest. It was also extremely important as a miss would have likely meant another overtime in a total grind of a game that truly could have gone either way.

It was especially important to get this Game 1 victory after getting smoked by the Heat in last year's playoffs. Losing Game 1 at home would have brought back a bad feeling of déjà vu, but now the Bucks have the series advantage and can take control with a win in Game 2 on Monday. And, hopefully, Milwaukee will actually shoot better than 5-of-31 from 3-point range.
