Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo is the front-runner to win this season's league MVP award. He's also being considered as the best player in the league right now, overtaking both LeBron James and Kevin Durant in a lot of people's eyes.

Antetokounmpo is one heck of a player. He can score, rebound, pass, and defend pretty well. However, there's still a part of his game that he can't do on a consistent basis.

Shooting 3s.

Although Giannis is shooting 58 percent from the field, he's only been able to make 24.9 percent of his 3-pointers this season. However, his teammates and coaches still want him to shoot from deep, including head coach Mike Budenholzer.

In an interview with ESPN's Malika Andrews, Budenholzer said that they're giving Giannis the green light to shoot 3s.

“He has the 100 percent green light to shoot,”

Giannis continues to gain confidence in shooting the 3 ball throughout the course of the season. He shot 40 percent from beyond the arc last February and continues to average the same this March.

“I am really confident the ball is going in. Obviously, it looks good when the ball goes in. You feel a lot better about yourself. At the end of the day, I have been working on it.

“As I've said in the past, my teammates, the coaching staff want me to shoot the ball. I want to keep shooting the ball.”

Antetokounmpo is already a phenomenal player without the 3-point shot, but should he be able to develop a consistent long-range jumper, it will really be difficult to stop him.

Take note, he's still just 24 years old.

He has plenty of time to perfect the 3-pointer.
