Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard Pat Connaughton told reporters on Monday at his exit interview he wants to improve his 3-point shooting this summer.

Connaughton, who signed a two-year, $3,364,050 deal with the Bucks last summer, says 2018-19 was his “favorite” season as a pro in the NBA.

Connaughton's contract for next season worth $1,723,050 is non-guaranteed. The 26-year-old appeared in 61 games for the Bucks during the regular season and averaged 6.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 33.0 percent from beyond the arc and 72.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The Bucks had the best record in the NBA this season. They won 60 games and got to the Eastern Conference Finals. Unfortunately, Milwaukee ran into Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors. The Bucks lost to the Raptors in six games after taking a 2-0 series lead.

In the playoffs, Connaughton put up 6.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists. He brings great energy off the bench. It would be a surprise to see Milwaukee not bring him back next season.

The Bucks do have some tough decisions to make this offseason. Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Nikola Mirotic become unrestricted free agents, while combo guard and 2017 Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon hits restricted free agency.
