After he suffered his second ACL tear of his young career back in February of 2017, Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker finally has a return date in sight.

According to a tweet on Friday night from Mike McGraw of the Daily Herald, the Bucks and Parker are targetting a return date for him two months away in February.

In a recent article by Steve Aschburner of NBA.com, Parker opened up about his knee rehabilitation and compared both ACL recovery processes he's had to endure in such a short time.

“I don’t find this very different,” Parker said. “Just things that I learned have been fundamental for me going forward. The only difference is that I know what I’m going through. From there, second time’s a charm.”

Parker also said that he's extremely hungry to play in the playoffs, but finally being able to suit up for a game would be his first key to a successful season.

“This season is successful for me, personally, if I’m able to play again,” he said. “Get better. Being efficient. Playing in the playoffs — I’ve never done that, so that would be good to experience. And just make it through, take it day by day and game by game and see where it goes.

Over his three-year career in the league, the second overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft has managed to only play in 152 games. Before he got hurt back on Feb. 8, Parker was having a great start to his 2016-17 season with 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
