Kevin Garnett is easily one of the best story-tellers in the entire history of the NBA. This is exactly why his new book is likely going to come off the shelves real soon. The book entitled KG: A to Z: An Uncensored Encyclopedia of Life, Basketball, and Everything in Between, features an awesome story involving Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan — one that continues to bite KG in the butt to this very day.

On a recent appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Garnett recalled the one and only time he made the mistake of trash-talking MJ. To cut the long story short (although we strongly advise that you watch the video on the link above), KG's trash-talking resulted in Michael dropping 40 points on him in three quarters. According to Garnett, the Bulls legend never fails to bring up that encounter whenever they see each other in person:

“It’s definitely burned into my brain, but whenever I see Jordan, he always does the same thing every time,” Garnett said, via Robbie Kalland of Uproxx. “He always palms my head and says, ‘you remember when I gave you 40 in three quarters?!’ And I’m always like, ‘man, go ‘head.’ And then he has like this sidekick of people around him and he’s like, ‘Go pull that up.’ And this guy goes and pulls it up [on his phone], and I’m like, ‘What is this?! Who walks around with content like, teed up.’ But it was an experience where, I quit talking trash to Michael Jordan.”

This is probably not the first time you've heard this KG story about Jordan, but the way he tells it never fails to produce laughter. Garnett is an all-time great and definitely one of the greatest trash-talkers ever. However, even he found his match in Michael Jordan.
