The 2020 NBA Draft is on Wednesday and it is unknown what the Chicago Bulls will do with the No. 4 overall pick. With the team possibly looking at a guard with the fourth-overall selection, some people in NBA circles believe Zach LaVine “could be had in a trade,” per Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated.

Ahead of the 2020 NBA Draft, LaMelo Ball is the most intriguing prospect early in the first round. The Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors and the Charlotte Hornets—the three teams that are on the board ahead of the Bulls—could all take Ball.

However, if Ball falls in Chicago's lap, he would make a ton of sense for the Bulls. The playmaking guard that suited up in the Australian Basketball League this year would be an ideal fit alongside Coby White in the backcourt.

With that in mind, LaVine could be an expendable piece for Chicago as they look to give White more minutes. Of course, moving LaVine could be contingent on whether or not the Bulls land Ball in the draft.

LaVine is entering his fourth year with Chicago, putting together his best season in 2019-2020. The former No. 13 overall pick of the Timberwolves recorded career-bests in points (25.5) and rebounds (4.8) while averaging 4.2 assists per game this past season.

Despite the Bulls hiring Billy Donovan as their next head coach, Zach LaVine hasn't been fond of the situation he's been in during his time in Chicago. Therefore, he could welcome a trade, especially if it involves him going to a contending team.

But the idea of the 25-year-old being traded is all dependent upon what the Bulls choose to do on Wednesday during the draft.
