The Arizona Cardinals will be without David Johnson in Week 8, but they will be getting one of their starting pass-catchers back in the offense. According to Ian Rapoport, Christian Kirk will return on Sunday as the Cardinals take on the New Orleans Saints.

Kirk has missed the past three weeks with an ankle injury that he sustained in Week 4 against the Seattle Seahawks. The second-year wideout comes back at a perfect time as Arizona attempts to spoil New Orleans' five-game winning streak.

The Texas A&M product caught 24 passes for 242 yards in the first four games of the season. While he's been sidelined, Larry Fitzgerald, Damiere Byrd, and KeeSean Johnson have held the fort at wide receiver.

Remarkably, the Cardinals have been able to string off three straight wins despite Kirk being in street clothes. Now, he returns to an offense that is rolling with Kyler Murray leading the way.

Murray has definitely made a case for the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year Award with his play from under center. Inserting Kirk into the lineup will only help the rookie signal-caller develop as the team's franchise quarterback.

Unfortunately, Kirk's return to the offense could be ruined with him likely drawing Marshon Lattimore in coverage. Nevertheless, his presence alone should provide a much-needed boost to the passing offense in Week 8.

On the other side of the field, Drew Brees is making his return to the Saints after missing over a month with a thumb injury. At the same time, New Orleans will be without Alvin Kamara for the second consecutive week.
