Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray doesn't care about his Instagram critics who don't agree with his stance on kneeling during the National Anthem. When someone criticized him, Murray's answer was pretty simple, “You think I give a f–k?”.

Murray had some powerful words about kneeling and the world as a whole. He thinks it's important that if there are people who don't understand why people are kneeling, that their friends need to reach out to them, and try to help them understand what is actually trying to get accomplished. It's clear at this point it's not about disrespecting the flag, it's trying to get equal treatment for all.

“For me being a black man in America, if it’s wrong I’m gonna say it’s wrong,” Murray said, via ProFootballTalk.

“If you have any racist friends, it’s on you to stop that immediately and let them know why that’s not right, or what’s wrong with the way they think or just opening their eyes and allowing them to understand what’s wrong with their thought process because, to be honest, I mean, we’re all human. And I feel like we should all be treated equally. I don’t get the debate on why everyone should be treated equally because of their skin color. It doesn’t make sense to me, but it is what it is right now. We’re trying to fix that.”

Kyler Murray is one of the more popular young players in the NFL and with him standing up (or kneeling, too) and supporting it, that should really help the movement. Since George Floyd died in police custody, there has been a movement towards kneeling during the National Anthem, something that free agent NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick pushed for a few years ago with the San Francisco 49ers.
