With the 2018 NFL Draft just days away, quarterback-hungry teams are clamoring for position to take a top prospect. Among the teams with looming concerns under center are the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals have done little to tip their hand about their draft strategy up until now. Recent reports suggest they are the team that is most likely to trade up, via Shane Dale of ABC15:

“The Arizona Cardinals may be the team to watch at this point. They certainly seem like they’re making the most phone calls about possibly moving up for a quarterback … it’s safe to assume that 5 or 6 could be potential slots to trade for a quarterback.”

Arizona currently owns the 15th overall pick in the upcoming draft. This means the top quarterback prospects would be well out of reach. That said, they would need to potentially slide into the top-five in order to do so.

Fortunately, they may be in luck given recent reports about the Denver Broncos' interest in sliding back for the right price. It is no secret that the New York Giants plan on taking a quarterback at three. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns have the luxury of taking one with either their first or fourth overall pick. The Broncos possess the fifth overall pick which would allow the Cardinals to potentially draft quarterbacks such as UCLA's Josh Rosen or Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield.

However, Arizona would have to put together quite the package in order to convince Denver to trade out of the top-10. They may also face some stiff competition from the Buffalo Bills who also have a huge void to fill under center.
