Carmelo Anthony has played with a bevy of superstars in his already Hall of Fame-worthy NBA career. Unfortunately, not all of those instances came during his prime.

As a result, the 10-time All-Star has yet to play in an NBA Finals despite being one of the best scorers in league history.

Melo has career averages of 23.6 points in 1,114 games. He's also a one-time scoring champion.

For this piece, we'll take a look at the best teammates Anthony has played with during his Hall of Fame NBA career.

PG: Russell Westbrook

Westbrook and Anthony were teammates for one season back in 2017-18. Russ averaged a triple-double that campaign by putting up averages of 25.4 points, 10.1 rebounds and 10.3 assists.

Unfortunately, Carmelo struggled in his lone season with the Thunder, putting up just 16.2 points while shooting 40.4 percent from the field. He was traded in the summer of 2018.

SG: Damian Lillard

Yes, we know that Lillard is technically a point guard. However, he's just too talented of a superstar to just completely omit from this list.

The Portland Trail Blazers ended Carmelo Anthony's one-year NBA exile in 2019-20 by signing him to a non-guaranteed deal. Melo and Lillard were teammates for 50 games.

Anthony averaged 15.3 points with the Blazers in 2019-20. Lillard, meanwhile, was putting up 28.9 points per game before games were suspended due to COVID-19.

SF: Paul George

Anthony may have struggled during the 2017-18 season, but Westbrook and Paul George didn't.

PG-13 finished the 2017-18 campaign with averages of 21.9 points and 5.7 boards in his first and lone year playing with Melo and Westbrook in OKC.

Russ and George both had great seasons in 2018-19, while Anthony only appeared in 10 games with the Houston Rockets before getting exiled.

PF: Amar'e Stoudemire

Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire were supposed to save the New York Knicks together. After the Knicks traded for Melo in 2011, Madison Square Garden was buzzing again since the team had two All-Stars leading the charge.

During their first full season together as teammates in 2011-12 (although technically it wasn't “full” since it was the lockout year), Stoudemire and Anthony led the Knicks to 36 wins. Melo averaged 22.6 points per game, while Stoudemire put up 17.5 points and 7.8 rebounds.

Amar'e's health began to deteriorate after the 2011-12 campaign though, and he finished his Knicks career with averages of 17.3 points and 6.7 rebounds.

C: Tyson Chandler

The 2012-13 season is the last year a Knicks team made the playoffs and had a winning record. Anthony averaged 28.7 points per game that season, while Tyson Chandler anchored the defense after winning the 2011-12 Defensive Player of the Year Award.

Melo led the entire NBA in scoring and was in the MVP conversation. Chandler, meanwhile, finished that 2012-13 campaign with averages of 10.4 points and 10.7 rebounds. He made his lone All-Star team while he was teammates with Melo.
