The Boston Celtics and Miami Heat battled in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Finals series. It was a crucial game, as the series was tied 2-2 entering Wednesday night. After a slow start to the game, Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown took over late in the game.

That included the play that sent Heat center Bam Adebayo running for the hills and Miami fans running for the exit.

With Boston leading 87-71 and just over five minutes remaining, Brown came over a screen and strolled down the middle. He went up and threw down a massive one-handed jam. Adebayo might have been seeing flashes of Luka Doncic getting destroyed the other night, as he backed away and just watched like everyone else.

The Celtics would go on to win Game 5, 93-80 in a defensive battle.

Miami actually led for the majority of the first half and took a five-point lead into halftime. Boston had 10 turnovers, and the Heat had outscored the Celtics 16-2 in the fast break. During the second half, Boston only committed five turnovers and were the ones getting out on the break.

Brown particularly was awful in the first half. At one point in the second quarter, the Celtics star had three points and four turnovers. His dribbling in traffic got him in trouble time after time. So, he made an adjustment and just began shooting the ball.

Brown ended up leading all scorers with 25 points. The Celtics will look to advance to the NBA Finals on Friday night as they host Game 6 back in Boston.
