Boston Celtics big man Enes Kanter has chimed in on the ongoing debate involving a faction of players not wanting to participate in the NBA's bubble plan.

Kanter is siding with the league, and has pretty much called out the players who are planning to boycott the remainder of the season. In Kanter's mind, the NBA is not going to be a distraction from the social issues at hand. As a matter of fact, it provides a great avenue to voice one's beliefs.

“The whole world is going to be focusing on you, right? You can make a huge difference,” he said, via Justin Leger of NBC Sports Boston. “All the microphones will be on your face, so you can get your message out. Whatever you want to talk about, ‘Black Lives Matter,’ freedom, justice, democracy. Whatever you want to talk about, the whole world will be listening to you.”

Kanter did not stop there. He also took a shot at the NBA's critics, implying that their intentions might be misaligned.

“There's so many quotes out there, there's so many rumors out there … you look at some of the players, they just signed their max contract, they have the biggest shoe deal out there, they live in the biggest market … but you cannot just be selfish. You've got to think about other players too. Be a leader,” Kanter said.

“If you're really about that life, go to the playoffs and take that money, and donate it back to ‘Black Lives Matter Foundation' or just give back to the community. Don't just say stuff.”

That's a pretty hot take from Kanter, who is not one who keeps his thoughts to himself. You can't deny that he has a point, though. He is calling out the naysayers here, and telling them to (literally) put their money where their mouths are.
