The Boston Celtics won Game 7 against the Milwaukee Bucks in a decisive fashion. By a score of 109-81 and thanks to a massive scoring outburst from Grant Williams, they defeated Giannis Antetokounmpo and the defending champions to advance in the NBA playoffs.

In front of their home crowd, the Celtics handled the Bucks. Head coach Ime Udoka stressed that the Celtics needed to play their best for the duration of the game. His message resonated with his team, as the Celtics outscored the Bucks in the final three quarters and locked in all game.

A lot of the Celtics' momentum has been undone by their terrible performances in certain quarters. Their fourth-quarter collapse in Game 5 put them on the brink of elimination and the Bucks kept it close several times throughout the series. In Game 7, the Celtics kept their foot on the gas and won easily.

Udoka stressed that his team doesn't back down. The first-year coach helped turn a middling team into a juggernaut seemingly with the flick of a switch. The Celtics embraced a defensive identity and became one of the best teams in the league.

Jayson Tatum led the way against the Bucks with 27.6 points per game. Jaylen Brown averaged 22.0 points in the series. Although Antetokounmpo still dominated, it was all for naught. Now, they are onto the Eastern Conference Finals, where they will take on the Miami Heat.
