Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum just got some new ink done, and he decided to show it off on social media. It's a pretty big back piece that adds to Tatum's growing collection of body art.

Here's a look at the new piece, which Tatum himself posted on hi IG Stories:

The new piece is the one on the left side of his back. It's a street sign of Archer Ave in Saint Louis, Missouri, which is where Tatum was born and raised. There's also an image of a house right below the street sign, which we assume is his childhood home.

Tatum has gone a long way from his humble beginnings, which speaks volumes of how talented and hard-working this young man is. Just recently, the Celtics signed the 22-year-old to a well-deserved max extension to the tune of $195 million for five years. Boston have their cornerstone superstar of the future in Tatum, and they made sure to lock him up for the long haul.

Last season, the former third overall pick averaged career-best numbers of 23.4 points (on 45.0 percent shooting), 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.4 steals, while also knocking down 2.9 triples per game on an efficient 40.3-percent clip. This resulted in Tatum's first call-up to the All-Star squad, which at this point, appears to be the first of many.

With Jayson Tatum leading the charge, the Celtics went all the way to the East Finals last term, only to be ousted by the Miami Heat in six games. Needless to say, Tatum and Co. will be looking to take the next step this coming season.
