Boston Celtics All-Star Kyrie Irving will be held out of Tuesday night's road game against the Cavs due to a left hip strain, according to an official report from the team.

This marks the second time Irving has sat out against his former team. Furthermore, it's his seventh DNP since the start of the new year.

With Irving ruled out, Terry Rozier will likely see an uptick in his usage rate. Players like Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown could see a bit more action as well.

Irving, who was non-committal about his future in Boston over the weekend, has made 45 appearances with the Celtics this season (all starts), racking up averages of 23.8 points on 50.3 percent shooting from the field (40.8 percent from beyond the arc), 7.0 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 32.8 minutes per outing.

In other Celtics-related injury news, Aron Baynes remains out due to a left foot contusion. Robert Williams, who's been dealing with a sore back, is listed as questionable. If Williams is unable to suit up against the Cavs, Daniel Theis will likely draw the backup center's job.

Tuesday night's Cavs-Celtics game is scheduled to tip inside Quicken Loans Arena at 7:00 p.m. ET, with FOX Sports Ohio having live broadcast coverage.
