Over 30 years ago, Manute Bol and Muggsy Bogues posed for an iconic photo that still stands the test of time in the NBA history books.

The Maine Red Claws recently decided to recreate the iconic snapshot with their own players, Tacko Fall and Romeo Langford (via Tomek Kordylewski on Twitter):

Bol and Bogues became teammates with the Washington Bullets in 1987. They made history by netting the biggest height difference ever recorded – a whopping 28 inches – between two teammates. Bol, at 7-foot-7, is tied with Gheorghe Muresan as the tallest player to ever step foot in the NBA, while Bogues is the shortest at 5-foot-3.

Tacko Fall is currently the tallest player in the NBA at 7-foot-5. Langford, on the one hand, stands at 6-foot-4, which is over a foot tall over supposedly the person he depicts in that iconic picture. Nevertheless, while Fall and Langford's photo isn't entirely accurate given their respective heights, it still makes for a great moment.

Boston selected Langford, a combo guard who played one season in Indiana, with the 14th pick in this year's NBA draft. Fall, on the other hand, went undrafted. The Celtics tapped on the 7-foot-7 behemoth in the Summer League and eventually signed him to a two-way deal.

Langford has yet to make his NBA debut, while Fall already appeared in one of Boston's games at home, much to the delight of the hometown crowd. In Fall's lone NBA appearance, he scored 4 points and grabbed 3 rebounds in 4 minutes. The big man currently averages a whopping 48 points and 36 rebounds per 36 minutes.

Realistically speaking, it will be hard for Fall and Langford to find playing time on the Celtics this season. Thus, a stint with the G-League, where they should get a lot more run, will likely do wonders for their long-term development.
