Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark talked a lot of trash leading into the Tennessee Titans game, and he doesn't care who liked or disliked it. Leading into the game Clark made it clear he thought the Chiefs could slow down Titans running back Derrick Henry.

“If they took that as disrespect or whoever, I really don’t care… at the end of the day you got to deal with me on the field,” Clark told reporters on Monday via Titans Wire. “If you can’t deal with me on the field, that’s your problem.”

Frank Clark said he didn't mean any disrespect towards Henry, and he doesn't think he's a bad player. As a competitor, he just thought the Chiefs would find success slowing him down.

“I think he’s a great running back,” he said. “I think he’s one of the best running backs in the league, I just think at the end of the day, at that moment when you were playing us that you wasn’t going to be the best running back in the league. That’s not just Derrick Henry, that’s anybody whose name you insert into that slot… at the end of the day I’m a competitor. I feel like in order to call yourself one of the best competitors in the world, if you don’t feel that way, I don’t want to be a team then.”

Henry did end up rushing 19 times for 69 yards and a touchdown. They didn't completely shut him down, but they did plenty well to come out with a win.
