The Kansas City Chiefs recently dealt with an unfortunate situation pertaining to Kareem Hunt. The Chiefs could be in a somewhat similar situation regarding Tyreek Hill.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the NFL is not expected to discipline Hill until child protection services conclude their investigation on Hill.

As most people know, Hill is being investigated for possibly severely injuring his three-year-old son. Thus, why child protection services are heavily involved in this case.

If proven guilty, this wouldn't be the first time that Hill has found himself in a terrible situation. Before being drafted by the Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Hill was dismissed from Oklahoma State two years prior for choking his pregnant girlfriend.

Hill plead guilty to that incident and played college football at West Alabama after being dismissed from Oklahoma State. Since then, people have raved how much Hill has changed as a person since that incident occurred.

That may not be true though if he is proven guilty in these new allegations against the speedy wide receiver. Hill is the main factor in the Chiefs' high-octane offense that is led by Patrick Mahomes.

In 2018, Hill had career-highs in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He is also heading into a contract year with the Chiefs—as he becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2020.

Although, if Hill is guilty of committing assault on his baby son, he can kiss that contract goodbye. The Chiefs would need to release the wideout in hopes he can better himself as a person before he can make a return to the field—if ever.
