The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off a disappointing 29-28 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers that has potentially put their grip hold on the top seed in the AFC playoff picture in jeopardy.

The Chiefs are looking to bounce back on the road against a tough matchup against the Seattle Seahawks that they will have to venture without the services of wide receiver Sammy Watkins and likely running back Spencer Ware.

Watkins has been out of the lineup for the last three games due to a nagging foot injury that could keep him out of the mix for rest of the season. This notion was only fueled after the Chiefs had immediately brought on board veteran wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin shortly after he was released by the Buffalo Bills.

There hasn't been any concrete timetable for Watkins' return this season as it remains a fluid situation. Kansas City will continue to lean more heavily upon wide receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce to lead the charge in the passing game. Meanwhile, Benjamin should also see an increased role as the third option behind Hill and Kelce.

Ware had missed last week's game against the Chargers due to a hamstring injury that occurred during the 27-24 overtime win over the Baltimore Ravens. Damian Williams will once again assume the starting role in his absence against the Seahawks. Williams is coming off a highly productive outing where he had 49 rushing yards on 10 carries and two touchdowns along with six receptions for 74 receiving yards.
