Oh boy. Things are going from bad to worse for Cavs big man Tristan Thompson who is finding out that fooling around with a woman other than your pregnant girlfriend is not exactly the right way to build a positive image in the eyes of the public.

During Wednesday’s regular-season finale against the New York Knicks at home, Thompson was faced with the sad reality that even Cavs fans are souring on him. In fact, he was pelted with boos and was so seemingly loathed by fans inside the Quicken Loans Arena that the public address announcer decided to skip mentioning Thompson’s name when the center came off the pine to make his first entry in the game, per Spencer Davies of Basketball Insiders.

Cavs fans booed Tristan Thompson when he was shown on screen. He wasn't announced coming off the bench by the PA announcer, either.

This seems to be part of the price Thompson is paying for after videos that shows his infidelity started spreading like wildfire on social media. Fans are understandably finding it hard to get behind someone like Thompson, whose morals are being questioned right now – and rightfully so.

Tristan Thompson scored 10 points in 30 minutes in the 110-98 loss to the Knicks, but even if he scored 81 points and drained a buzzer-beating, game-winning three-pointer in that game, those are not going to be enough to make people get over his misdeeds.
