The L.A. Clippers’ series of preseason games started on Sunday when they faced the Toronto Raptors. With fans excited to see their favorite players compete again, it did not take DeAndre Jordan long to announce his return on the floor.

The 6-foot-11 center caught the perfect bounce pass from Patrick Beverley, and did not waste time rolling to the basket, before throwing down a vicious one-handed slam in between Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas.

While Jordan is used to being on the receiving end of dimes from Chris Paul in the past, Beverley showed in the play that he is more than capable of setting up their starting center for easy baskets as well. The 29-year-old Texas A&M product did not disappoint though, and finished with authority.

If these are the kinds of plays that can be expected from the Clippers throughout the season, there will be no doubt that they will be one of the most exciting teams to watch. Already known as “Lob City,” they may embrace the tag even more this year that they are geared to make a run for the title, with some key players added to their fold.
