Los Angeles Clippers center Boban Marjanovic is a large human being. The gigantic Serbian astounded fans on opening night with his monstrous dunks that resulted in a broken rim at Staples Center. It wasn't because of a Shaquille O'Neal-esque dunk that took down the whole basket, but the basket needed to be realigned after Bobi was through.

Marjanovic credits his effort in the weight room for the broken rim:

Marjanovic is a gift for NBA fans. The massive 7-foot-3 Clippers big man impressed in the team's season debut, scoring 18 points and grabbing eight boards in fewer than 18 minutes on the floor. He was a remarkably efficient 6-for-8 from the floor and was perfect from the free-throw line, converting on all six of his opportunities

His imposing size advantage allows Marjanovic to play a unique style, but it also hurts his overall stamina. He's an excellent weapon off the bench for Doc Rivers to use, but he doesn't play well for large stretches of time. That being said, when he's dunking without leaving his feet and breaking rims, he's a lot of fun to watch.

The Clippers fell to the Denver Nuggets 107-98 on Wednesday, but Boban Marjanovic was one of the bright spots for LA. His size alone is enough to throw opposing teams out of whack. Look for Rivers to use Marjanovic in a similar fashion on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
