Tiger Woods took the sports world by storm this past weekend by winning his fifth Masters in thrilling fashion. It was Tiger's first Masters victory since 2005 and first major since 2008, finally giving him that elusive 15th major that looked like it would never be won when he was dealing with so many injuries over the last decade.

Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers spoke about Tiger's victory and how he made sure to watch the golf legend clinch that fifth green jacket:

Rivers and the Clippers are preparing for Game 2 of their first-round series against the Golden State Warriors, but there's always time to set that aside for a little bit in order to witness history. It was quite the spectacle at Augusta as Tiger finished up his win and celebrated with his family as he walked off the course, and the energy in the whole crowd made it even more special. The 43-year-old means so much to the game of golf and sports in general, and that's something Rivers recognizes.

Rivers is hoping his Clippers can channel some of Tiger's success against the top-seeded Warriors. LA lost Game 1 by a score of 121-104, with two-time MVP Stephen Curry doing the most damage for Golden State. Curry poured in 38 points on 11-of-16 shooting in Game 1, and Rivers will have to try to devise a defense to slow down the sharpshooter and the rest of the Warriors' elite offensive attack. That's much easier said than done.
