The Patrick Beverley era in Hollywood is over. That's after the Los Angeles Clippers have decided to part ways with guard Patrick Beverley by trading him to the Memphis Grizzlies with Rajon Rondo and Daniel Oturu for Eric Bledsoe. There are a number of things that Clippers fans will miss about the combative Beverley. While he's never been a great scorer for the Clippers, he was a defensive menace that shares the same intensity on that end of the floor with Kawhi Leonard.
Speaking of Leonard, Beverley's departure also meant that the Clippers have broken up one of the most underrated two-man combos on the team's roster. Here's Shane Young of Forbes Sports with some numbers that further illustrate how impressive the Leonard-Beverley duo was for the Clippers.

In four seasons with the Clippers, Patrick Beverley averaged 8.0points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.3 assists across 177 games in the regular season. Despite not being a primary or even a secondary option on offense, Beverley was able to come up with a 116 offensive rating in those seasons with the Clippers to go with a 110 defensive rating.
At 34 years old, Beverley will see with the Grizzlies whether he's got enough gas in his tank to be more than just a veteran decoration on Memphis' bench.
