Lou Williams became part of a lot of headlines lately as he got involved in a Twitter beef with Fox Sports 1’s Shannon Sharpe. It can be recalled that the two exchanged some tweets that stemmed from the basketball analyst’s original post where he called the L.A. Clippers guard a “snitch” after comments he made previously on SLAM Magazine.

However, the two have apparently already spoken after their choice words for one another. Williams has claimed that they were on the phone and that all is good between them now, which he also posted via the social media platform as well.

Should it be true, it only goes to show that conflicts can indeed be avoided from escalating further when the parties involved speak to one another and hear each other’s side. That does not depend on their statures, and being celebrities in their own right, they should serve as good examples to their fans and for the youth to emulate.

Now with their feud appearing to be a thing of the past, they can go on with their separate careers and focus on what they both do best. Williams is currently involved in a lot of trade rumors and could be on the move before the deadline on February 8. He has been playing very well this season and narrowly missed out on receiving an All-Star nod. Sharpe on the other hand hosts one of the most entertaining sports shows on TV, Undisputed, together with Joy Taylor, and the often controversial Skip Bayless.
