Los Angeles Clippers superstar Paul George just crowned himself as the new ‘King of LA' after a record-breaking performance against the Phoenix Suns in Game 5. It was ‘Playoff P' who showed up on Monday night as the Clippers, once again, had their backs against the wall fighting for their playoff lives.

George, like a superhero with an entire city on his back, came up huge against Phoenix. The seven-time All-Star dropped a historic performance with 41 points, 13 rebounds, and six dimes making him the first-ever Clipper in franchise history to notch a 40/10/5 line (via StatMuse). Are you not entertained?

PG was out cooking in the desert as he spearheaded another huge road win for LA to cut the series deficit to 3-2 as they head back to the Staples Center for Game 6. Without Kawhi Leonard, who has now missed his seventh straight playoff game, George put the team on his broad shoulders and played huge – especially in the third quarter.

George was at the forefront of a huge third-quarter run where he dropped 20 of his 41 points to keep the home squad at bay. In the fourth, the 31-year-old didn't let his team down and knocked down huge buckets down the stretch to maintain the huge lead and ultimately seal another W in a do-or-die game.

Time and time again, George has slowly ripped apart the ‘Pandemic P' brand by showing up when his team needs him most. In these playoffs, George has tallied 20+ points in each of the Clippers' 18 games so far. Can we put some much-needed respect to this man's name already?
