A lot will be riding on the shoulders of Paul George this season for the Los Angeles Clippers. Superstar teammate Kawhi Leonard is still dealing with an ACL injury that could force him to sit out most, if not the entirety of the 2021-22 season. At this point, it would be safe to assume that PG will need to do most of the heavy lifting for the Clippers in Kawhi's stead.

Paul George isn't exactly the most durable player in the league as well. As such, it's only natural to wonder what type of load management he'll need to undergo throughout the campaign, all things considered. As it turns out, George isn't even thinking about sitting out games at the moment:

“No, not really. It’s just by feel,” George said, via Joey Linn of FanNation. “Ty Lue has been especially good with that, coming to us as players trying to see how our body feels… I know we have a brutal schedule with the five games in seven nights, but it just comes down to taking it one game at a time.”

For what it's worth, George has played a grand total of 102 regular-season games for the Clippers over the last two seasons. Passing the century mark may be impressive to some degree, but the fact that he also missed 42 contests in two years doesn't necessarily bold well for his durability.

George is clearly keeping a positive mindset ahead of the upcoming campaign, though. Nevertheless, it would be hard to imagine that the seven-time All-Star will play all 82 games for the Clippers in 2021-22.
